QOMO Series
Ceiling-Mounted Dynamic DR for Fixed Radiology Rooms
QOMO Series is a ceiling-mounted dynamic DR system for fixed radiology rooms. Its ten-axis ceiling suspension works with a motorised elevating table and upright stand for upright, seated and supine examinations.
The dynamic flat panel supports real-time fluoroscopy, while the static flat panel supports high-resolution radiography. Switching takes 0.8 s, with radiography, fluoroscopy and contrast examinations operated from one console.
- Fixed-room workflow for general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Upright, seated and supine patient positioning
- Dynamic and static flat panel detectors
- Full-body stitching for standing long-length imaging
Intended use: General radiography, fluoroscopy and contrast examinations in hospitals and health-screening centres.
Detector workflow
Dynamic Observation and Static Imaging in One Examination Room
The dynamic flat panel is used for real-time fluoroscopic observation, while the static flat panel is used for radiographic spot images. With 0.8 s switching, observation and spot-film acquisition can follow each other without ending the fluoroscopic study.
Dual-directional automatic tube-detector tracking keeps the imaging geometry aligned in upright and supine positions and at different projection angles.

Key features
Coverage, Detector Switching and Long-Length Imaging
The QOMO Series combines ceiling-mounted positioning, dynamic and static detection, fluoroscopy and stitching in one fixed-room workflow.
Ten-axis ceiling suspension with floor-to-ceiling coverage
The fully balanced ceiling suspension moves along ten coordinated axes and works with a motorised elevating table and an upright stand, so body regions and projection angles can be reached from one installation.
Long arms and a wide travel range bring the tube and detector down to approximately 20 cm above the floor for standing lower-limb, extremity and paediatric views. The table height adjusts from 55 to 90 cm.
Dynamic and static detectors with 0.8 s switching
The self-developed dynamic flat panel detector provides real-time fluoroscopy. When a finding appears, the system switches to the static flat panel detector in 0.8 s and acquires a high-resolution spot film.
Dual-directional automatic tracking keeps the tube and detector aligned through upright and supine setups and at different projection angles.
One-touch automatic full-body stitching
Standing full-spine and full-leg stitching starts with a single command. The system angles the tube and calibrates automatically, then merges approximately three exposures into one 3K matrix image without manual alignment.
The tube-angle acquisition is designed to limit join-related geometric variation. Site-specific image quality and stitching validation should be confirmed for the intended configuration.
Large-field fluoroscopy, contrast studies and console
Upright and supine fluoroscopy covers a 17 x 17 in dynamic field with 15 in, 12 in and 9 in magnification modes. The same room can support oesophagography and intravenous pyelography (IVP).
Tube voltage up to 150 kV supports high-kV chest radiography, including pneumoconiosis screening. APR presets and in-room remote control help keep repeat examinations consistent.
Clinical applications
Routine Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Long-Length Imaging
QOMO Series covers the day-to-day caseload of a general radiology department, from routine skeletal views to contrast examinations and high-kV chest screening.
Chest PA and lateral
Upright chest radiography for routine examinations and repeat imaging workflows.
AP and lateral spine
Spine views in upright, seated or supine positions, selected according to patient condition and examination protocol.
Pelvis and hip
Pelvis and hip radiography using the table, upright stand or other supported positioning setup.
Extremity, low position
Low-position imaging for lower limbs and extremities when the detector and tube are lowered near floor level.
Oesophagography
Large-field real-time fluoroscopy with spot images during contrast examination.
Intravenous pyelography
Fluoroscopic observation and radiographic spot images for IVP workflows.
High-kV chest screening
High-kV chest radiography for high-volume chest examinations and pneumoconiosis screening programmes.
Full-body stitching
Standing full-spine and lower-limb stitching for long-length radiographic views.
Applications by department
A Fixed-Room Platform for Mixed Radiology Workloads
QOMO Series suits examination rooms where one system needs to handle routine radiography, fluoroscopy, contrast studies and long-length imaging.
General radiology
Routine chest, spine, pelvis and extremity radiography alongside fluoroscopy, on one system and from one console.
Health screening
High-kV chest radiography at up to 150 kV for high-volume chest examinations and pneumoconiosis screening programmes.
Emergency and trauma
Upright and supine examinations with dual-directional automatic tube-detector tracking for complex positioning workflows.
Gastroenterology and urology
Oesophagography and intravenous pyelography under large-field real-time fluoroscopy, with spot films taken during the study.
Orthopaedics
Standing full-spine and lower-limb stitching plus low-position extremity imaging for alignment assessment.
Configuration options
Optional Modules for Extended Imaging Workflows
Standing cone-beam 3D
Optional standing 3D scanning of the full spine and lower limb on a compatible ceiling suspension, with a field of view up to 350 mm and MPR, VR and MIP reconstruction.
Automated 3D measurement
Optional software can turn standing 3D scan data into structured measurements for full-spine, lower-limb, hip and knee parameters. Module availability and market registration require confirmation.
